| Veggies - Nature-Ally We grow many types of vegetables each year. Our vegetables are planted in soil which has had no unnatural treatments or insecticides. We utilize our own naturally composted manure from our own animals only to enrich our soils. We use our own natural controls in the event we need to control pests. Of course, our chickens give us a big help in that area. They like bugs. Our naturally grown vegetables produce very well. |

Pumpkins In addition to the standard pumpkins, we grow several varieties of French Pumpkins that are unmatched in their meat color. The meats are so sweet we have to adjust down the amount of sugar we add to our pie custard. Corn We grow a very tender extra-sweet variety of corn. They are so sweet when eaten freshly picked that they are like eating an ear of sugar.

Peas Our peas are so good and sweet, we have to grow double crops because my son swears they are better than eating candy. Summer Squash We usually have a bumper crop of summer squash you will surely want to try. We choose several varieties of summer squash which have a particularly nutty flavor. Tomatoes Along with the standard varieties of tomatoes, we grow several varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Their flavor and meats are unmatched. If you have never tried an heirloom tomato, here is your chance. We also dry our tomatoes in the fall and offer them through the winter. |
